No. 14 Women's Water Polo Heads To Brown/Harvard This Weekend

PRINCETON - The No. 14 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team heads on the road for three games including two in CWPA action.
The Tigers take on No. 20 Brown (9 a.m.) and LIU (1 p.m.) in Providence, R.I. before battling at No. 13 Harvard on Sunday (10 a.m.). The Brown and Harvard games will be streamed on ESPN+ while the LIU contest will not.
Princeton is 12-0 this season including our ranked victories. The Tigers' 12 wins to begin a season are tied for third most in program history (2017), trailing only 2012 (14) and 2014 (15). The program record for consecutive wins is 20, set in 2001.
Michigan leads the CWPA with a 4-0 mark followed by Princeton at 2-0. Harvard is 3-1 while Brown sits at 1-1 followed by Bucknell (1-3), Mercyhurst (1-3) and Saint Francis (0-4). The first-place winner receives a bye in the CWPA Tournament.
Head coach Derek Ellingson's team has five players with at least 20 goals in Shanna Davidson (32), Olivia Krotts (28), Didi Evans (28), Vivian Golub (23) and Ava Houlahan (22) along with three more registering at least 10 tallies in Charlotte Riches (13), Ally Lurie (10) and Kendall Wyer (10). Lindsey Lucas is 10-0 in the cage with 83 saves and a .550 save percentage.
Evans leads the Tigers in scoring, corralling a team-best 40 assists in addition to 28 goals while Davidson paces the team in goals (32), steals (23) and sprint wins (14).
The Tigers have had a player win a CWPA weekly honor each week they've played in Evans (Jan. 26, Rookie, Feb. 2, Rookie), Davidson (Feb. 2, Player), Golub (Feb. 9, Rookie, Feb. 23, Rookie) and Lurie (Feb. 16, Player).
