Joe Licata Named Ivy Athlete of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Joe Licata was named the Ivy League Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, following the senior's big performance in the shot put last weekend.
At the Penn Invite, Licata set a huge PR as he threw 19.51m / 64' in the shot, winning the event and improving his third-place mark in the all-time Princeton record book. His new mark was nearly a half-meter jump from his previous best.
This is Licata's first Ivy weekly award. It is the third-straight week a Tiger has won the honor in men's track and field.
