Wunder Named ECAC Forward of the Month

Following a month that saw Princeton achieve a program-record winning streak helped in no small part by her efforts, Tiger senior Issy Wunder has been named the ECAC Hockey Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Month.Â
Wunder was also selected as one of three runners-up for the Hockey Commissioners Association's national Forward of the Month award.Â
Wunder scored 13 goals and added seven assists for 20 points across the month as she scored a point in nine of the team's 10 games in January while Princeton went 8-2 on the month, returning to the top of the ECAC Hockey standings.Â
Wunder entered the week tied for first in the nation in game-winning goals, with six, tied for fifth in goals per game, at 0.84, and 13th in points per game, at 1.44.
Wunder and the Tigers will head to Dartmouth and Harvard this weekend as the ECAC Hockey regular season heads into its final four games.
