Tigers Compete at Penn Classic

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – With another day of solid individual performances at the Ott Center, the Princeton men's track and field team competed at the Penn Classic on Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia.
Casey Helm highlighted the weekend, setting a new PR and meet record in the shot put as he threw 18.80m / 61-8.25. The mark moves him one spot up to fifth in the Princeton record book.
Collin Boler won the mile, running 3:59.57. His brother Brian Boler came in third, setting a new PR of 4:00.17.
In the sprints, Kobeyeh Riley set a new personal best in the 500m, running 1:04.61. Asa Marsh took sixth in the 400m, running 49.41.
In the field events, Robert Ruffini had a podium finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.12m / 23-4.5. Nick Molloy took fourth in the pole vault, clearing 4.80m / 15-9. Cole Hoegl took sixth in the high jump, jumping 1.90m / 6-2.75. Anthony Liakhnovich took sixth in the weight throw, throwing 16.89m / 55-5.

The Tigers will split for two solid tests next weekend, with the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the Tyson Invitational at Arkansas next Friday and Saturday.
