No. 14 Women's Water Polo Continues Spring Break Trip

PRINCETON – The No. 14 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team continues its Spring Break trip at the No. 25 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens and No. 2 UCLA Bruins this week.
The Tigers take on the Sagehens on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and the Bruins on Thursday at 4 p.m. Princeton finishes the weekend at the San Diego State Invitational.
Princeton is 15-2 this season and 3-1 in the CWPA with five ranked victories. The Tigers had 14-game winning streak come to an end with the loss to No. 13 Harvard. That was the second longest streak to start a year in program history.
The Tigers have never lost to Pomona-Pitzer in nine contests including victories in each of the past three years. Princeton has decisions over LMU in two of the past three seasons.
Head coach Derek Ellingson's team has six players with at least 20 goals in Shanna Davidson (39), Olivia Krotts (36), Didi Evans (35), Ava Houlahan (31), Vivian Golub (27) and Charlotte Riches (23).
Davidson also leads the Tigers in steals (32), blocks (17) and sprint wins (18). Evans paces the offense with 89 points as she has 54 helpers along with 20 steals. Lindsey Lucas is 11-2 in the cage with 116 stops and a .550 save percentage.
