Lucas Shines In No. 14 Women's Water Polo's 12-1 Win Over No. 25 Pomona-Pitzer

CLAREMONT – The No. 14 Princeton Women's Team took care of the No. 25 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 12-1, at the Haldeman Pool on Wednesday evening.
Lindsey Lucas stood out for the Tigers as she recorded 18 saves and did not allow a goal until the 2:06 mark of the third quarter, a span of 20 minutes and 54 seconds.
Olivia Krotts scored a hat trick in the first half as Princeton led 6-0 at the break. The Tigers added four more goals in the third quarter before cruising to the 12-1 victory.
Krotts led the Tigers with four goals while Shanna Davidson, Didi Evans and Vivian Golub each had two tallies.
Princeton takes on No. 2 UCLA Thursday at 4 p.m.
