No. 23 Women's Basketball Set For Ivy Madness

ITHACA – The No. 23 Princeton Women's Basketball Team is set to being its postseason journey at the 2026 Ivy League Tournament this weekend.
The Tigers, as the No. 1 seed, will take on the No. 4 seed Brown Bears on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The game can be viewed on ESPN+. The winner of this game will take on the winner of Columbia and Harvard on Saturday for the championship at 5:30 p.m. That game can be seen on ESPNU.

•The Tigers are ranked in both national polls, coming in at No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll while sitting at No. 23 in WBCA poll.

•Princeton has a Net Ranking of 38 with a quad one victory at Villanova and four more quad two wins.

•If the NCAA still considered RPI, Princeton would be 11th overall, trailing only UCLA, Texas, South Carolina, Connecticut, Iowa, Vanderbilt, Duke, TCU, Michigan and West Virginia. The Tigers' non-conference RPI would be second behind Connecticut.

•Head coach Carla Berube was named a finalist for the 2026 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year Award this week.

It was the second All-Ivy honor for St. Rose, Belker, Tall and Chea while Hutcherson was picked for her first All-Ivy accolade. Taylor Charles was honored as Academic All-Ivy. Princeton's staff was also selected as the Ivy Coaching Staff of the Year.

•St. Rose leads the Tigers in scoring at 16.0 points, while averaging 4.6 rebounds per game. The senior captain has five 20+ point games along with two double-doubles.

•She has scored in double figures in all but four games this season. This season, St. Rose surpassed 1,000 career points (1,173), becoming the 29th Tiger to join that milestone.

 •The senior captain is 18th on the Princeton scoring list and is four points shy of Devona Allgood '12 (1,177) for 17th. The next closest Tiger to 1,000 career points is Belker at 971 points.

•If St. Rose keeps up her current pace, she will finish with over 1,200 points. The Old Bridge, N.J. native earned Ivy Player of the Week following her performance against Brown, marking the first of her career. She has also been named to the Wooden Watch List and Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List.

•Princeton has won 20 of its last 22 games. The Tigers have nabbed five 10+ game winning streaks with Berube as coach. Berube has corralled 14 such streaks in her coaching career.
