Foster, Hogan Earn All-America Honors at NCAA Indoor Championships
March 13, 2026 | Men's Track and Field
FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – Greg Foster took fourth in the long jump and Myles Hogan finished 10th in the 5000m at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville on Friday, as both Tigers earned All-American distinction.
Foster was named to the First Team All-America after placing fourth in the long jump as the senior has posted an outstanding, undefeated season.
The first jumper to hit the 8.00m threshold at today's meet, Foster led for several rounds before being overtaken in the standings with three athletes setting new personal bests.
Still, his best mark of 8.13m / 26-8¼ was good enough for a top-four finish, making him one of just six jumpers to cross 8.00m on the day.
Foster, one of the most consistent and successful long jumpers in the country, has cleared 8.00m and set new Ivy League records in each of his previous three competitions this season.
His latest, a jump of 8.24m at indoor Heps, won him his fourth-straight and final indoor Heps long jump title as he completed an undefeated career.
It is his first time earning First Team All-America honors at indoor nationals, and his second between indoor and outdoor NCAAs.
Hogan, making his indoor NCAA debut, finished 10th place in the 5000m with a time of 13:50.62. The performance earned him Second Team All-America honors.
Connor McCormick also made his indoor nationals debut as represented Princeton in the mile. Clocking in at 3:58.45, he finished 13th in the preliminary round.
Tomorrow, several additional Tigers will compete for All-American status with Joe Licata competing in the shot put, and a Tiger squad competing in the 4x400 relay. The shot put is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT in Fayetteville, while the 4x400 relay will kick off at 6:55 p.m. CT.
