Princeton Baseball Drops 3-1 Contest To Seton Hall

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Despite a strong effort, Princeton dropped 3-1 against Seton Hall in their mid-week contest.
Seton Hall opened up scoring in this game, putting two runs up in the first and third innings.
The Tigers were able to chip away at the deficit in the fifth with a bunt from Isaac Lamson that sent Will Robbins to home, making it 2-1.
The Pirates went on to put up one more run in the eighth, taking the 3-1 win.
Ryan Penney started on the mound for Princeton. In his two inning outing, Penney allowed two hits and one run, while striking out one. Parker Codington took over in the third inning, pitching two scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out one.
The Tigers head on the road for their weekend series to continue Ivy League play against Brown (Mar. 28-29).
