Greene Takes First as Javelin Squad Competes at Monmouth Opener

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Tiger javelin squad represented Princeton at the Monmouth Opener on Saturday in West Long Branch, N.J. Shea Greene won the event with a throw of 53.18m.
Niki Woods took third at the meet, throwing 43.73m.
Kameil Crane (42.04m), Nicole Rodriguez (38.94m) and Lotte Gretzler (37.49m) took fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
Julia Jongejeugd (34.44m) and Ava John (27.11m) rounded out the Tiger competitors, taking ninth and 12th, as John made her collegiate javelin debut.

The Tigers will host the Sam Howell Invitational next Saturday, April 4, as they open the action in Weaver Stadium this season.
