No. 18 Princeton (2-2, 1-0 Ivy) opened Ivy League play with a 19-13 win at Harvard (1-4, 0-2 Ivy) to get in front in the race towards the top of the Ivy League.
Four different Princeton players had at least three goals in the game, led by Jami MacDonald, Ella Sloan and Meg Morrisroe who each had four. Maggie Bacigalupo had a hat trick as well.
MacDonald, who had 10 points in Princeton's win over the Crimson last season, was just as dangerous in 2026 with eight total points on four goals and four assists.

How It Happened
- Princeton needed 7:18 to find the back of the net, but its defense allowed the Crimson to score just one so when Meg Morrisroe got the Tigers on the board midway through the opening period it tied the game, 1-1.
- Morrisroe would follow with a second goal 1:23 later to give the Tigers a lead before Ella Sloan increased the advantage to 3-1 0:42 after that.
- Jami MacDonald and Maggie Bacigalupo had Princeton goals before the end of the first quarter as the Tigers and Crimson traded goals en route to a 5-3 Princeton lead after the first quarter.
- The back-and-forth continued until the Tigers pulled away late in the first half after the Crimson had got to within one at 7-6 with 8:46 to play in the second quarter.
- Maggie Bacigalupo and Meg Morrisroe scored twice in 1:54 before MacDonald netted two before the end of the first half to send Princeton to the break with an 11-6 lead.
- The Crimson had a three-goal run in the third quarter, but were only able to slash one goal off their deficit as the Tigers had an answer at every step including Becca Kirschener's first career goal with 4:13 to play in the third.
- The Tigers scored five of the first six goals in the fourth quarter to firmly pull away. The clinching sequence was four Princeton goals in 4:18 to give Princeton a 19-11 lead – a run capped by a pair of Colette Quinn goals.
