Greg Van Horn finished his third season as an assistant coach. A two-year starter for the Tigers, Van Horn transferred to the College of Wooster following the 2009 season.
Starting 36 of his 38 appearances as a freshman for Princeton in 2007, Van Horn hit .323 with 20 RBI. Slugging .526 with a .428 on-base percentage, he finished with 11 doubles, four home runs and a pair of triples. In 2009, Van Horn batted .303 with eight doubles and four homers.
Closing out his collegiate career at Wooster, Van Horn was a two-time All-America selection at shortstop for the Fighting Scots. He hit .486 with a .890 slugging percentage during his first Division III season with eight triples, eight home runs, 19 doubles and 56 RBI. As a senior, Van Horn hit .422 with a .609 slugging and .548 on-base percentage.
Following graduation, Van Horn spent three years playing professionally in the independent Frontier League, making the transition to catcher for his final two seasons. He has also served as an assistant coach with the Chillicothe Paints of the Prospect League.
