François Bourbeau enters his fifth season working at Princeton and will continue to work with the Tiger goaltenders. Additionally, Bourbeau is in his sixth year teaching at the Hun School of Princeton. He also coaches the boys high school hockey team there.
Bourbeau was a goalie on four NCAA Division III national championship teams at Middlebury and was twice named an All-America. He shares the NCAA Division III record for winning percentage in a season (he went 14-0 in 1996) and ranks second in career goals-against average at 1.88. Bourbeau’s career winning percentage ranks second in the Division III record books at .917 as he went 47-2-5 over four seasons at Middlebury.
Bourbeau spent the 2000-01 season working with the Princeton men’s goaltenders. After graduating from Middlebury, he played two seasons of professional hockey, appearing for the El Paso Buzzards in the Western Professional Hockey League and the Saginaw Gears of the United Hockey League.
