Natalie Senese is in her seventh season as a member of the Athletic Training staff at Princeton. She currently works with the field hockey, wrestling, women's waterpolo, women's open crew, and men's and women's golf teams.
During her time at Princeton, Senese has been involved with organizing the Annual Women in Athletic Training Tennis Tournament to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She introduced "RedCord" training, which is a tool utilized for Neuromuscular Training and Facilitation to Princeton's Athletic Training Room. She has developed many online rehabilitation programs for the University Health Services website. These include Ankle Sprain, Patello-Femoral Pain Syndrome, Illiotibial band Syndrome, and an overall Lower Body Injury Prevention Program which focuses on ACL Prevention Exercises.
Natalie is Canadian, from Grimsby, Ontario. She was recruited on a Rowing Scholarship with her twin sister to Mercyhurst College in Erie,PA, where they were both members of the varsity women's lightweight eight crew team. She earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training.
She then went on to earn her master's degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, where she served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the men's and women's swimming and diving teams for two seasons. She completed her Master's Thesis on "Clinical Measurements as a Predictor of Maximum Pronation During Running".
