2021: Rowed for the 2V8 that placed 14th at the NCAA Championships (May 30).
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19
2019: Began the season at 2V8 … saw time at 1V4+ before being moved to 2V8 again vs. Columbia, Rutgers and Wisconsin … Part of the 2V8 boat that won at the Ivy League Championships.
Before Princeton: Competed on the US U19 national team in both 2016 and 2017 in the 8+; team placed fifth and seventh at the World Rowing Junior Championships, respectively … won silver at the 2016 Youth National Championships in the 4+; posted top-five finishes in the 2015 (4+) and 2017 (8+) Youth Nationals.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Linda Niva … one of nine children; has three older siblings (Elisa, Anika and Michaela), and five younger siblings (Nick, Ilaria, Mitch, Blake and Finn) … undecided on course of study at Princeton.
