Julian Pangilinan joined Princeton's Athletic Medicine staff in December of 2024. He serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Tigers' men's basketball and women's water polo programs.
Pangilinan comes to Princeton from Carolina Core FC of MLS NEXT Pro, where he served as the Head Athletic Trainer during the club's inaugural season.
He is a 2020 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Athletic Training and Exercise and Sport Science. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a specialization in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2022.
While working towards his degree at North Carolina, he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Tar Heels' men's lacrosse and field hockey programs, winning a national championship and two ACC championships with field hockey as well as an ACC championship with men's lacrosse during his time in Chapel Hill.
Additional stops include Georgia State University where he served as an Athletic Trainer for the Panthers' men's soccer and softball teams from 2022-2023 as well as the NFL's Atlanta Falcons where Pangilinan was a Summer Athletic Training Intern in 2019. He holds certifications in CPR as a BLS provider and instructor as well as the Advanced Rehab Certification. A certified athletic trainer since 2020, Pangilinan is originally from Dacula, GA and resides in Ewing, NJ.
