David Moreau

Originally from Lille, France, David Moreau is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Psychology Department. He is interested in the way movement influences human memory and reasoning abilities. For example, he has shown that practicing complex motor skills lead to substantial changes in the brain, which can be dedicated to solving high-level cognitive problems more efficiently. Within the Working Memory Lab at Princeton, David currently works on developing training interventions to enhance cognition in healthy people.
Before becoming an academic fellow, David competed in freestyle wrestling. He is a two-time national champion in France and was on the French National Team before entering his PhD program.
