Men's and Women's Track Competes at Heptagonal Championships

Annapolis, Md. - Both the men and women's track and field teams will compete in the 2002 Heptagonal championships on May 11 and 12, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy. Last season, the men finished second in the championships, 19.5 points behind first-place Penn. The Princeton women are looking to improve on an eighth-place finish from last year.
The men have won four outdoor Heptagonal championships in the last decade, most recently in 2002 and are the current indoor champions. The women have won the title seven times, most recently capturing the championship in 1998.
