Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's cross country team swept La Salle, Manhattan and Rutgers in dual meets at the Battlefield Invitational, held at the historic Princeton Battlefield. The Tigers dominated the event, claiming eight of the top 10 finishing positions. Emily Kroshus won the event in an overall time of 17:20.76.
Chasing her across the finish line was Meredith Lambert in 17:29.74. La Salle's Sheila Klick crossed the finish line third, followed by Tigers Laura Petrillo and Mia Swenson to round out the top five. Claire Filloux placed sixth, Marian Bihrle was seventh, Carrie Strickland eighth and Kate Reid earned a ninth-place finish.
