EASTON, Pa. - Princeton had four runners place in the top 10, led by a second-place finish from Claire Filloux, and the Tigers tied for first place with Columbia at the Leopard Invitational meet Saturday morning.
Filloux finished in 21:10.20 over the 5.8K course, while Jennifer Johnson was seven seconds behind in third place and Heather Iaturo was close behind in fourth. Randy Buzzell finished seventh in 21:33 for the Tigers.
Princeton and Columbia each scored 29 points. Columbia's Caroline Bierbaum was the only runner to break the 21-minute mark and won the meet in an impressive time of 20:18.60.
Caitlin McTague was Princeton's other scorer in the event, placing 13th overall.
Princeton and Columbia easily outdistanced Lafayette and Saint Joseph's, who tied for third with 114 points each.
