A subpar hitting performance and a strong defensive effort from the Brown women's volleyball team resulted in a 3-1 loss for Princeton Friday night.
Princeton fell 30-27 and 30-24 in the first two games, but came back for a 30-25 win in the third game. Brown took the match with a 30-28 thriller in the fourth game.
Lauren Grumet led Princeton with 13 kills, while Jenny McReynolds had 23 digs for the Tigers, who are now 10-4, 1-1 in the Ivy League. Princeton will face Yale tomorrow at 4 p.m.
