Women's Cross Country Finishes Eighth at ECAC Meet

NEW YORK - The Princeton women's cross country team finished eighth overall out of 15 teams at the ECAC Division I Women's Cross Country Championship held at Van Cortlandt Park Saturday morning.
Caroline Mullen, a sophomore, led the Tigers with a 40th place finish overall, completing the five-kilometer course in 18:52. Randy Buzzell was just five seconds behind that in 46th place, while Claire Filloux finished 50th overall in 19 minutes even.
Amanda Rinderle (19:02, 53rd) and Jen Johnson (19:13, 60th) rounded out the scorers for Princeton.
La Salle, which also won the IC4A men's meet at the same site, won the team title in the ECAC meet.
The Tigers' top seven runners compete at the NCAA championship meet Monday morning in Terre Haute, Ind.
