Holmes-Winn and 10 Tigers Representing Princeton at National Championship

PRINCETON (6/21/10) - Head coach Kristen Holmes-Winn and 10 current and former members of the Princeton field hockey team are representing the Tigers this week at the 2010 USA Field Hockey Women's National Championship in Virginia Beach.
Holmes-Winn is coaching the New Jersey team and led the team to championships in 2007 and 2009. Her team features seven current Tigers-Katie Reinprecht, Julia Reinprecht, Alyssa Pyros, Rachel Neufeld, Kathleen Sharkey, Michelle Cesan and May-Ying Medalia The Reinprechts, Sharkey and Cesan were on Holmes-Winn's winning team last summer.
Another current Tiger, Molly Goodman, and Nicole Ng '09 are playing on the California team and Maren Ford '06 is playing on the Midwest team.
The event began on Sunday and continues all week with the round-robin schedule ending on Wednesday and the playoff rounds on Friday and Saturday.
