PRINCETON, N.J. (10/15/11) - The Princeton men's cross country team finished second at the 2011 Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 15 on the Tigers' home course, West Windsor Fields.
The Tigers posted a score of 68 and an average team time of 25:12.
Sophomore Alejandro Arroyo Yamin led Princeton with a third-place finish of 25:01. Classmate Jonathan Vitez clocked in three seconds later at 25:04 to finished in sixth place. Junior Michael Franklin ran a 25:12 and freshman Mike McDonald clocked in at 25:21. Rounding out the scoring was junior Michael Palmisano at 25:22.
A total of 12 teams and nearly 140 runners participated in the championship race.
Yesterday, a select group finished fourth at the Wisconsin Invitational, a race that included 21 ranked teams. Click here for that race story.
