BETHLEHEM, Pa. (11/15/13) - The Princeton women's cross country team finished fifth at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. Freshman Megan Curham finished fifth overall and will most likely earn a spot in the NCAA Championships.
Curham covered the course in 20:13 and should be one of the top four that makes the championships, outside of a qualifying team, when the selection announcement is made Saturday at 3 p.m., on NCAA.com.
Junior Emily de La Bruyere was the second Tiger across the line, finishing 13th at 20:25. Juniors Lindsay Eysenbach and Kathryn Fluehr finished one second apart at 21:12 and 21:13 and sophomore Kathryn Little was the final scorer coming in 43rd at 21:24. Rookie Lizzie Bird came in 49th at 21:28 and senior Molly Higgins clocked a 21:43 to finish 70th.
Curham and de La Bruyere both earned all-region honors for finishing in the top 25.
