BETHLEHEM, Pa. (10/4/14) - The Princeton men's cross country team won the brown race at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational, besting 39 other squads with a 47-point margin of victory.
The Tigers went 4-5-6-30-38 to earn 83 points, with Haverford second with 130 and Quinnipiac third with 155.
Freshman Wolfgang Beck was the top finisher at 24:44 and he was followed by sophomore William Paulson at 24:52 and senior Bradley Paternostro at 24:59. Freshmen Joshua Ingalls and Charlie Stahl were the final scorers at 25:46 and 25:51, respectively. Rookie Kenan Farmer finished in the top 100, out of 341 competitors.
In two weeks, Princeton will split the team again, sending its top group to the Wisconsin Invitational on Oct. 17 while the rest of the team hosts the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 18.
