Bendtsen and Udland Surpass 25-Year School Record at Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. (4/5/14) - Seniors Chris Bendtsen and Tyler Udland surpassed Joe LeMay '89 school record in the 10k as the Princeton men's distance corps competed at the Stanford Invitational on Friday night.
Bendtsen ran 28:49.08 and Udland a 28:57.25. Those times rank sixth and ninth all-time in the Ivy League.
LeMay ran his 25-year record of 28:58.90 at the 1989 Penn Relays.
Senior Alejandro Arroyo Yamin wasn't far behind at 29:19.08.
Junior Eddie Owens was seventh in section 3 of the steeplechase as he posted a time of 8:59.26. In section 1 of the 1500, senior Michael Williams finished at 3:45.55.
In the 5k, sophomore Sam Pons clocked 14:21.48.
The rest of the Tigers are competing in the Sam Howell Invitational at Weaver Stadium through Saturday.
