Box Score
| William & Mary scored the last three goals in defeating the Princeton women's soccer team 4-1 Sunday afternoon in Virginia, pulling away from a brief 1-all tie in the first half. The Tribe started the scoring in the 20th minute with a Samantha Cordum goal, but it took Princeton only 46 seconds to answer when Haley Chow headed in an Alessia Azermadhi pass forward to make it 1-1. William & Mary got one more before halftime and put the game away in the second half, with Cordum scoring her second goal of the game in the 61st minute and teammate Emory Camper making it 4-1 in the 76th. The trip to Virginia was the final regular-season venture to the state for the program under head coach Julie Shackford, who set her team against her alma mater for the sixth time in her 20 seasons leading the program. |
