LAST TIME OUT
• Rallying from a late second-half deficit, the Tigers edged out Columbia in overtime last Friday, 4-3.
• Hailey Reeves opened the scoring in the 12th minute. With the contest knotted at 1-1, Sophia Tornetta briefly put Princeton back on top.
• Columbia answered with a couple of goals in the last minute of the first half to take a 3-2 lead into the intermission.
• With the Orange and Black still looking for the equalizer in the waning moments of regulation, Nicole Catalino tied it at 66:47. Just 1:38 into the first extra session, Catalino tapped in a Cat Caro feed to put the Tigers up for good.
• Princeton finished with a slight 12-11 shot advantage and an 8-7 edge in penalty corners.
• The Tigers' Anya Gersoff made a pair of stops in the win.
• The victory helped Princeton improve to 82-5 all-time against the Ivy League under head coach Kristen Holmes-Winn.
• The Tigers only losses to conference opponents in the Holmes-Winn era have come to Dartmouth (2004, 2011), Cornell (2007), Penn (2004), and Columbia (2014).
STEPPING UP
• With Princeton in jeopardy of dropping an Ivy League match-up against Columbia last Friday, freshman Nicole Catalino netted a pair of goals to help the Tigers pull out a comeback win.
• Trailing 3-2 in the 67th minute, Catalino got a stick on a Teresa Benvenuti shot off a penalty corner, redirecting the equalizer into the Lions' cage at 66:47.
• Just 1:38 into overtime, Catalino carved out space on the backpost before tapping in a Cat Caro feed to give Princeton the win.
• Catalino earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors for her efforts.
• Through her first 10 appearances, Catalino sits second on the squad in goals (6) and third on the team in points (12).
• Catalino's Ivy honor is the sixth for Princeton this season.

YOUTH MOVEMENT
• Sophia Tornetta, Elise Wong, and Nicole Catalino combined for eight of the Tigers' 14 points against Columbia, accounting for three of the four goals and an assist.
• Princeton's freshmen have combined for over a third (37) of the Tigers' 100 points this season.
• Sophia Tornetta ranks second on the team in points (15) with five goals and five assists.
• Nicole Catalino is second on the Tigers in goals (6) and third in points (12).
• Elise Wong is tied for second on the squad in assists (5).
• Elizabeth George has four points on a goal and two assists, while Jane Donio-Enscoe has a helper.
CLOSE CALLS
• With a 4-3 win over Columbia last weekend, Princeton snapped a streak of four-consecutive overtime losses.
• Entering last Friday's contest, the Tigers' last OT win came against Rider on Nov. 3, 2013, 2-1.
• Dating back to last season, the Tigers have played in 14 one-goal games, going 6-8 in those contests.
• Of those eight losses, five came to ranked opponents.
• Dropping last year's season opener to Duke (L, 1-0), Princeton also fell by a goal to two-time defending champion UConn (L, 4-3) and 2014 national runner-up Syracuse (L, 4-3 – 2ot).

• Maddie Copeland is 10th in the country in goals per game (0.90) and 16th in points per contest (2.00).
• Teresa Benvenuti is fourth in the nation in assists per game (0.70).
• Anya Gersoff is 25th in Division I in saves per game (5.60) and third in the Ivy in save percentage (0.700).

• Princeton is 29-8-1 all-time against Brown with an 11-7-1 road record.
• The Tigers won each of the first four meetings between the programs, including a 3-1 decision in the inaugural match-up.
• Brown earned its first-ever win over Princeton in 1983, 1-0 (ot).
• Princeton has won each of the last 15 meetings against Brown dating back to 2000, outscoring the Bears 81-9 during that span.

SERIES HISTORY: SYRACUSE
• Princeton holds an 11-7 all-time record against Syracuse.
• The Tigers won each of the first three meetings, including the inaugural showdown in 1988, 3-2.
• Syracuse recorded its first-ever win over Princeton in 1995, 2-1.
• After taking three-straight from the Orange in 2009-10, the Tigers have dropped each of the last four meetings, including last season's double overtime match-up, 4-3.
LAST MEETING: SYRACUSE
• The Tigers dropped a heartbreaking 4-3 double overtime decision to Syracuse last season.
• Annalena Ulbrich gave the Orange an early lead with a pair of first half goals. With the Tigers getting on the board in the final minute of the first period, Maddie Copeland netted a pair of goals at 35:31 and 39:40 to put Princeton on top.
• Lieke Visser pulled Syracuse even at 47:51 before Emma Russell put the Orange up for good with the game winner at 93:28.
• Syracuse finished with a 24-13 shot advantage and a 9-5 edge in penalty corners.
• Anya Gersoff posted 12 saves in the win, with Syracuse's Jess Jecko making five stops.
SCOUTING SYRACUSE
• The nation's top-ranked team, Syracuse carries an unblemished 13-0 record into the weekend.
• The Orange will host No. 7 Wake Forest on Saturday, Oct. 17 before welcoming Princeton to J.S. Coyne Field the following afternoon.
• Syracuse has outscored its opponents 53-11 this season, holding a 257-88 shot advantage with a 92-41 edge in penalty corners.
• 13 different players have recorded a point for Syracuse this season, with three players netting at least 20.
