NEW YORK, N.Y. (10/30/15) - The Princeton men's cross country team finished fifth at the 2015 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships in Van Cortlandt Park this afternoon.
The Tigers earned 95 points in the 8k race that made it's return to the Bronx after a four-year stint in Princeton in West Windsor Fields.
Senior Michael Sublette was the top finisher for the Tigers with a time of 24:59.8 to take 10th. Classmate Sam Berger ran 25:10.5 to take 14th, while freshman Jeremy Spiezio was two places back with a time of 25:14.4. Senior Brett Kelly covered the course in 25:21.3 to take 20th, and freshman Steven Sum ran 25:35.7 as the final Princeton scorer.
Columbia won the meet with 65 points, while Penn's Thomas Awad repeated as the individual champion.
Sublette and Berger both claimed second-team All-Ivy League honors, based on their finishes.
