Postgame Notes: Princeton 104, Lafayette 52
November 26, 2015 | Men's Basketball
• Princeton's 104 points are its most since Feb. 26, 1971, a 108-64 win over Yale. That was also the last time Princeton hit 100 points.
• Tonight marked the first time in Princeton history that the team scored exactly 104 points, and it was the ninth-most points in a game in its 2,718 games over 115 seasons. Of the eight higher-scoring games, six were in the 1964-65 or 1966-67 seasons, while the others were against Brown in 1954 and Yale in 1971, the last time Princeton scored 100.
• The point total was the highest posted by an Ivy League team against a Division I opponent since Columbia scored 108 against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Nov. 15, 2010.
• Despite this being the ninth-highest scoring game in program history, it wasn't the most points Princeton has scored against Lafayette. The 1966-67 Tigers scored 108 against the Leopards.
• Princeton's 52-point margin of victory was its largest over a Division I opponent since defeating Brown by 58 on Feb. 10, 1968, 96-38.
• Princeton is 3-0 for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
• Princeton's 52-point margin of victory was its largest over Lafayette in 68 meetings, eclipsing a 49-point win on Dec. 1, 1958, 108-59.
• Princeton now leads the series over Lafayette 49-19.
• Princeton has now won four straight over Lafayette in Princeton.
• Henry Caruso (13 pts., 10 reb.) and Steven Cook (12 pts., 10 reb.) each had their first career double-doubles, marking the first time since March 2, 1974 against Columbia that two Tigers had double-doubles in the same game.
• Princeton last had five players in double figures last season on Dec. 3, 2014 at Fairleigh Dickinson.
• Princeton outrebounded Lafayette 50-26, its largest rebounding margin against a Division I team under Mitch Henderson.
• Princeton's 17 3-pointers were the second-most against a Division I team in the 30-plus years the line has been in the college game. Nine Princeton players hit 18 3s against Pacific two seasons ago, and eight players hit the 17 3s tonight.
• The 10 rebounds each for Henry Caruso and Steven Cook were career highs.
• Noah Bramlage became the second freshman in three games (Devin Cannady vs. Rider) to lead the team in scoring, putting in 14 points off the bench including three 3-pointers. The game marked Bramlage's career debut.
• Mike LeBlanc's 12 points, coming on four 3-pointers, were a career high. The sophomore hadn't appeared in a game yet this season and appeared in just three last season, hitting two 3-pointers against Rowan in the Division III game for his only rookie points.
• Freshman Elias Berbari made his career debut.
• Junior Khyan Rayner's seven points marked a career high. His previous best was five against Kean as a freshman two seasons ago.
• Senior Mike Washington Jr. pulled down a career-high six rebounds. His career total was eight rebounds coming into the game.
