Nov. 5 TigerCast: Cristin Shanahan & John Lovett
November 05, 2015 | Football, General, Women's Ice Hockey
Women's hockey senior Cristin Shanahan, whose team will play their home openers this weekend, and sophomore quarterback John Lovett, whose team travels to Penn this weekend, are guests on the first November edition of TigerCast.
Shanahan has helped the 10th-ranked Tigers get out to a 4-0 start, which included ECAC wins last weekend at both Yale and Brown. Now she prepares for her home openers, including a Friday night showdown against perennial power Cornell. She discusses how Princeton carried momentum from a strong finish last season, and also the early offensive impact from her freshman teammates.
Lovett has been a do-it-all player for the Princeton football team this season, and he currently leads the Ivy League with 10 touchdowns on the season. He scored two last weekend in a victory over Cornell, and he will hope to have a similar impact this Saturday when the Tigers travel to Franklin Field to take on a Penn team still in control of its Ivy League destiny.
If you are new to TigerCast, the weekly Thursday podcast will provide an in-depth look at Princeton teams through interviews with coaches and student-athletes. The podcast will feature all 38 Tiger teams throughout the year, and there will also be information on key upcoming events during each show.
You can access the TigerCast page here or by clicking the microphone tab on the right side of the page. All previous TigerCasts will be stored on this page as well.
