Owusu-Nyantekyi Jumps PR on Final Day of Penn Relays

On the final day of the Penn Relays, senior Nana Owusu-Nyantekyi finished third in the triple jump championship jumping a PR of 15.65 (51-5.25). He reached the eight-man final with a 15.35 and then had his best two jumps on his final two attempts at 15.41 and 15.65.
Three Tigers competed in the college hammer throw with sophomore Vic Youn posted the best throw at 56.05 (183-10) to place 17th. Freshman Gabe Arcaro threw 54.62 (179-2) and senior Jake Taylor reached 53.34 (175).
Results
Princeton won one event and had four second-place finishes at the TCNJ Invitational.
Freshman Mitchel Charles won the discus, and was the only thrower to reach 50 meters as his best throw landed at 52.17.
Senior Tom Scott posted a PR of 54.18 in the 400 hurdles, to place second overall with the best collegiate time. Freshman Spencer Long was seventh with a time of 55.28.
Junior Greg Caldwell was the runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles with a 14.95, with Long clocking 15.55 for ninth place.
Another second-place finish came in the 400 – this time from sophomore Bryant Switzer. Switzer clocked 49.29, while freshman Brennan O'Connor crossed the line at 50.66 to take fifth.
Sophomore Xavier Bledsoe took second place in the high jump as he cleared 2.00. Freshman Colin Reilly was sixth jumping over 1.95. In the pole vault, junior Bryan Oslin was fifth, launching to 4.35, on his first time competing in the vault this season.
Princeton will host the Princeton Open next weekend, May 1-2 at Weaver Stadium.
