Meet the Class of 2019: Jane Donio-Enscoe and Sarah Holland
July 28, 2015 | Field Hockey
PRINCETON, N.J. – Fresh off a 10th Ivy League title in 11 seasons, the Princeton University field hockey team will welcome eight student-athletes for the 2015 campaign.
“Our ultimate mission is to help our student-athletes maximize their long term potential in the classroom and on the playing field,” said head coach Kristen Holmes-Winn. “We seek out individuals who are optimistic, obsessed with learning and improvement and who are attracted to the challenges inherent in being a student and athlete at Princeton University.”
“Our recruiting platform is simple: If you want 'easy'—go elsewhere,” added Holmes-Winn. “The young women I am about to introduce accepted the challenge of playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. They welcome the target on their back that comes with winning 19 of the last 20 Ivy Titles and most importantly they all said 'yes' to the notion of 360 degrees of excellence in their classroom.”
Princeton field hockey will be announcing the Class of 2019 over the course of the next week, so be sure to return to GoPrincetonTigers.com to meet the newest additions to the program.
Jane Donio-Enscoe
“Jane's dedication is evident in every aspect of her life,” said Holmes-Winn. “In addition to being a sensational field hockey player, Jane is also an accomplished musician and track athlete. Jane has just begun her ascension in the US Field Hockey set up as evidenced by her recent selection to our U19 National Team. We believe Jane has the physical attributes to be a top collegiate player. We are excited to see where she goes!”
