LAST TIME OUT: PRINCETON
• Princeton improved to 2-3 on the season with a decisive 5-1 victory over American on Sunday.
• The Tigers finished with an 11-5 shot advantage and a 7-2 edge in penalty corners.
• Maddie Copeland led the way for the Tigers, posting her first career hat-trick.
• Copeland netted her first of the game 1:38 into the second half before striking again nine minutes later. The senior striker capped off the scoring with the Tigers' fifth goal at 69:03.
• Elizabeth George netted her first collegiate points, assisting on a pair of Copeland goals in the 46th and 70th minutes.
• The Tigers' first two goals from Hailey Reeves (12:02) and Nicole Catalino (28:43) both came off of a penalty corner.
• Of Princeton's 18 goals this season, nearly 45 percent (8) have come off of a penalty corner.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
• Continuing to play a big role in the Tigers' success this season, Princeton's freshmen had a hand in three of the team's five goals against American.

• Rookie Sophia Tornetta leads the team with eight points on two goals and four assists, while fellow freshman Nicole Catalino is tied for the team lead in goals (3).

• A Princeton freshman has recorded a point in each of the Tigers' games this season, while scoring a goal in four of the team's five outings.
NO REST FOR THE WEARY
• No. 10 Maryland will be the fourth ranked opponent the Tigers have faced this season.
• Princeton's three losses in 2015 have come to No. 3 North Carolina, No. 4 Virginia, and No. 14 Delaware.
• The Tigers' one-goal losses to Virginia and Delaware were the 12th and 13th one-goal games for Princeton dating back to last season. The Orange and Black are 5-8 in those contests.
• Of the Tigers' 13 one-goal games dating back to 2014, seven have come against ranked opponents.

SERIES HISTORY
• Maryland leads the all-time series, 20-6-1.
• Posting a 4-2-1 record over the first seven meetings beginning in 1981 (W, 2-0), Princeton lost 13-straight to the Terrapins from 1999-2009.
• Snapping the skid in 2010 (W, 4-2), Princeton took three of the next four match-ups against Maryland.
• The Tigers' last win over the Terrapins came in the 2012 National Semifinal, 3-2 (ot).

• After securing an 8-1 victory over Princeton during the regular season match-up, Maryland earned a 5-1 win over the Tigers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

• The Terrapins are coming off of a pair of wins over Northwestern (W, 3-2) and New Hampshire (W, 5-2) last weekend to improve to 5-3 (1-0 Big Ten) on the season.
• Trailing 1-0 in its Big Ten season opener against Northwestern, Maryland netted three unanswered goals.
• After Anna Dessoye put the Terrapins on the board at 32:38, Linnea Gonzales put Maryland in front at 43:24. Just 48 seconds later, Dessoye struck again to make it 3-1.
