PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers climbed to No. 14 in the final Penn Montco/NFHCA Division I Coaches' Poll released today.

Behind two goals from senior Ellen Dobrijevic and three-point outings from senior Cat Caro and junior Ryan McCarthy, the Tigers defeated Penn., 6-1 at Bedford Field last Saturday. Princeton finished the regular season at 10-7 overall and 5-2 in the Ivy League.

Duke kept the top spot in the coaches' poll, picking up 25 first-place votes and 680 voting points. Maryland, despite no first-place votes, was No. 2, followed by Syracuse, North Carolina and Penn State. Connecticut, Virginia, Delaware, Louisville and Michigan round out the top ten. Harvard, the Ivy League's automatic qualifier, sits No. 15.

For the ninth consecutive year Princeton reached the NCAA Tournament, getting an at-large bid for the first time in program history. The Tigers will take on No. 5 Penn State on Saturday (11:30 a.m.). Penn State defeated Princeton, 4-2, on Oct. 2.
