Princeton senior Steven Cook has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week after leading the Tigers with a 14.3 point-per-game average in a 2-1 week for the team.
Cook went 12 of 22 from the field in wins over Hawai'i and Liberty, including going 9 of 14 from 3-point range. His 21 points against the Rainbow Warriors marked the eighth 20-point game of his career after five last season and two as a sophomore.
Cook leads the team with a 13.5 per-game scoring average and leads all Tigers who have played more than one game in rebounds at 4.5 per game. Cook's 13 steals are tops on the team and co-lead the Ivy League.
The award is the first weekly honor for Princeton this season and first Player of the Week honor since Spencer Weisz shared the award on Feb. 29, 2016. Cook also won the honor on Feb. 8, 2016.
Princeton, winners of four of its last six, will host Saint Joseph's Wednesday at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
