Women's Track & Field Wins Four Events in Final Meet Before Heps

RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. (2/21/16) - The Princeton women's track & field team claimed four event victories at the Princeton Invitational - the final tune-up before the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship.
Freshman Jackie Berardo (500), senior Cecilia Barowski (800), freshman Ellie Randolph (60 hurdles), Allison Harris (pole vault) each earn wins.
Barowski ran the best time of any Tiger this season in the 800, clocking a 2:04.66. Princeton dominated the event, claiming the top four spots. Following Barowski was freshman Anna Jurew at 2:14.46, freshman Alie Fordyce at 2:14.89 and junior Jessica Ackerman at 2:15.09.
Another 1-2-3-4 finish came in the 500. Behind Berardo's first-place finish of 1:15.66 was senior Meghan McMullin at 1:16.05, senior Summer Hanson at 1:16.81 and sophomore Mattie Baron at 1:16.91.
Randolph won the hurdles at 8.98 after an 8.96 in the prelims. Sophomore Maia Craver was second at 9.07. The fastest time of the day came from senior Taylor Morgan, with an 8.83 in the prelims.
Two second-place finishes came in the 60 and the mile.
Senior Birdie Hutton was the runner-up in the mile with a time 5:03.27, while junior Rachael Chacko was third at 5:03.49.
Sophomore Christina Walter was the runner-up in the 60 at 7.77 – the top colleigate time. She went on to take third in the 200 with the second-best collegiate time of 25.83.
In the 4x400 relay, senior Kerry Krause, freshman Mikaela Sawyer, freshman Frances Lodge and Morgan clocked 3:57.87 for second place.
Harris won the pole vault at 4.15 (13-7.25), the fifth time this season she has cleared four meters. The junior set the Ivy League record in the event two weeks ago with a 4.20.
The Tigers had three in the top five of the long jump led by senior Sara Ronde. Ronde was second at 5.72 (18-9.25), with Morgan fourth at 5.61 (18-5) and junior Ariel Becker fifth at 5.58 (18-3.75)
In the triple jump, junior Alex Lanzafame took fourth place with a jump of 11.41 (37-5.25), and sophomore Delaney Kerkhof was fifth at 10.84 (35-6.75).
Freshman Nnenna Ibe, also a member of the Princeton volleyball team, was fourth in the high jump at 1.65 (5-5).
In the throw, sophomore Kennedy O'Dell was second in the weight and third in the shot. She had her best throw in the weight reaching 16.69 (54-9.25) and found 13.06
(42-10.25) in the shot.
