Samara Named Ivy Coach of the Year; 19 All-Ivy Honors Awarded to Men's Track

PRINCETON N.J. (3/1/16) - Princeton head coach Fred Samara has been named the unanimous selection for Ivy League Indoor Track & Field Men's Head Coach of the Year. Samara has claimed the head coach honor each indoor and outdoor season since the league itroduced the award last winter.
Sophomore Carrington Akosa was named the Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet. Akosa won the 200 and was the runner-up in the 60 to set Princeton on its way to winning its second consecutive indoor title and 19th overall.
Eight Tigers won events and 11 were runners-up as 19 All-Ivy League honors were handed out to the Orange & Black.
