PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 14 Princeton Tigers will take on the No. 4 Virginia Cavaliers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced tonight.
Â
This is always the most exciting time of the year," said head coach Carla Tagliente. "I am very proud of how far this team has come this season. Wrapping up the Ivy League undefeated is a tremendous accomplishment and we are looking forward to seeing what lies ahead."
Â
No. 3 seed Princeton and No. 2 seed Virginia will get underway on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2:00 p.m., in Charlottesville, Va. The other contest in the bracket will be the No. 1 seeded North Carolina Tarheels and No. 4 seeded St. Joseph's Hawks (11:30 a.m., Nov. 11). The Tarheels are sixth in the nation while the Hawks are No. 17. Virginia will host the bracket despite being the No. 2 seed.

Â
The Tigers clinched the outright Ivy League championship, its 25th all-time, and the Ivy's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It's the 22nd time that the Tigers have made the Big Dance.
