Lussi Heads to Spain with U.S. U-23s

Princeton senior Tyler Lussi is headed to Spain with the U.S. U-23 team to compete against Japan, England and Norway at La Manga.
Lussi, who was drafted earlier this winter by the Portland Thorns of the NWSL, graduated as Princeton's all-time leading goal and point scorer and was a two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year. Since the 2016 season ended, Lussi has been a part of training camps and competitions with the U-23s.
The Japan match is set for March 2, followed March 4 by the England match and then March 7 for the Norway match.Â

Lussi's Princeton teammate, sophomore Mimi Asom, competed in the La Manga event a year ago with the U.S. U-20 team.Â
