The Week That Was:
- The fourth RBI of the day for Nick Hernandez helped Princeton rally in the ninth inning Wednesday afternoon against Rider, and Mother Nature made sure neither team would lead again. After 3:22 of action on Clarke Field, daylight was gone and the midweek showdown between Mercer County opponents ended in a 7-7 tie.
- In game one vs. Penn on Saturday, the Quakers needed extra innings before a walk-off single from Tim Graul in the bottom of the ninth (5-4).
- Jesper Horsted had three hits from the top of the order while Zack Belski, Ramzi Haddad and David Harding each snagged multi-hit outings. Princeton pitchers combined for eight strikeouts in the loss.
- Penn took game two on Saturday, 3-1. In the eighth inning, Sean Phelan hit a ground ball to second base. Harding made the throw home, but Chris Adams slid under the tag to put the home team ahead, 2-1. An RBI bunt single from Matt O'Neill gave the Quakers' an insurance tally.
- The Quakers secured two more victories over Princeton on Sunday afternoon (17-5, 10-2).
- David Harding and Paul Tupper had two hits each for the Tigers. Tupper came in as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning and finished with three RBI in game one.
- During game two, Andrew Gnazzo pitched a scoreless two innings, striking out three in relief. Jesper Horsted, Ramzi Haddad and Asher Lee-Tyson collected multi-hit outings.
- David Harding leads the squad with a .333 average. He has 35 total bases, 28 hits and 13 RBI for the Tigers.
- Nick Hernandez has been a steady bat for Princeton as he sits with a .304/.347/.438 slash line. He has eight extra base hits and a team-best 17 RBI this season.

- Seven of Haddad's 21 hits in 2017 have been for extra base hits.
- Nolan has a .367 on-base percentage and team-high nine steals.
- Ben Gross has a team-best 2.95 ERA in seven starts. In 39 2/3 innings, the junior has 36 strikeouts. He has 3.6 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
- After giving up nine runs in his last two starts, Chad Powers was outstanding against Penn on Saturday. The senior went seven innings, scattering five hits, allowing no runs after the first frame. He matched his season high with six strikeouts and did not walk a batter.
