January 12, 2018 | Men's Basketball
The 3-pointers were falling in Jadwin Gym Friday night with the Princeton men's basketball team dropping 15 of them in a 72-56 win over Columbia.
Six Tigers contributed to the 15 3s, which was the second-most of the season for Princeton behind the 16 the Tigers drilled at Cal Poly on Dec. 16. With the win, the Tigers moved to 8-8 overall and 1-1 in the Ivy.Â
Princeton scored the first eight points of the game and increased its lead as large as 20 with five minutes to go before halftime on a Sebastian Much 3, one of nine triples the Tigers hit in the opening half.
The lead grew as large as 27 after halftime with Devin Cannady leading the way with a game-high 17 points and Much (13) and Jerome Desrosiers (12) joining him in double figures.Â
Princeton will host Cornell Saturday at 7 p.m. to close out the weekend.
