Lundy Leads Princeton to Victory at Princeton Invite

Results
Junior Conor Lundy nearly led the entire 8k on West Windsor Fields and finished eight seconds in front of the next across the line to win the Princeton Invitational with a time of 23:55.3.
The Tigers won the home meet with a score of 37 going 1-5-6-10-15 and the sixth and seventh runners claiming 24-33. Villanova finished second with 47 points followed by Temple with 107. Princeton finished ahead of Columbia in fifth place and Cornell in eighth.
Junior Gannon Willcutts and sophomore Matt Grossman went 5-6 with times of 24:09.2 and 24:09.7. Senior captain Jeremy Spiezio was 10th overall at 24:23.8 and sophomore Ed Trippas was 15th at 24:30.3. Juniors David Krahn and Perrin Hagge were the sixth and seventh Tigers across the line at 24:42.0 and 24:53.3.
Princeton hosts the Ivy Heps back here on West Windsor Fields a week from tomorrow, on Saturday Oct. 27. The Tigers look to defend their title as the race begins at noon.
