Poling Falls in Three-Set Battle at USTA Futures Event

Princeton freshman Karl Poling battled opponent Mwendwa Mbithi to a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 defeat Saturday in the first round of qualifying at the USTA Futures event in Birmingham, Ala.
Poling may compete in the main doubles draw beginning Tuesday, and information will be added to the GoPrincetonTigers.com men's tennis page should Poling compete in that draw.
