Tigers Close Farnsworth With Pair of Singles Wins

Justin Barki and Kabir Sarita won singles matches on the final day of the Farnsworth Invitational Sunday at the Lenz Tennis Center and Jadwin Gym.
Princeton's two teams were battling those from Gardner-Webb in one draw and William & Mary in the other. The Tigers' opponents won the flights by splitting the two singles matches in each competition and winning the lone doubles match in each.
"It was a successful event for us and I'm pleased to see the progress we have made in some areas," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "We were also happy to have both teams advance to the finals of their respective flights. All four guys that competed saw plenty of action that will benefit them going forward. We now turn our attention to the ITA regionals which start on Thursday."
Results from Sunday are below. The ITA Northeast Regional, which Princeton will host for the first time since 2007, will begin Thursday.
