Princeton Jumps To No. 3 In National Coaches' Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers improved to No. 3 in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches' Poll, the organization released today.

Princeton climbed to No. 3 after taking down then-No. 3 UConn on Sunday. Undefeated North Carolina sits at the top of the poll with 40-of-43 first-place votes. Maryland is No. 2 with the remaining first place votes. Duke and Connecticut round out the top five. Harvard is No. 11 in the poll.

After a weekend that included a 4-0 victory over Columbia and 5-2 decision over then-No. 3 UConn, Clara Roth (Offensive) and Maddie Bacskai (Defensive) were named Ivy League Players of the Week. Roth leads the squad with nine goals and 23 points this season.

The Tigers welcome the Brown Bears to Bedford Field on Saturday. The game gets underway at 12 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. The Tigers have not lost to the Bears since 1999.
