CANCUN, Mexico – The Princeton Tigers make the trip to Mexico for the 2018 Cancun Challenge this week.

The Tigers would go on to finish the regular season at 30-0 and win the program's first ever NCAA Tournament contest.
Before we talk about the Cancun Challenge, let's review the Penn State contest one last time …

Let's take a look at some factors for the Cancun Challenge …

Gabrielle Rush has been Princeton's leading scorer (17.0) and best shooter so far (34.2 percent) from beyond the arc. She is 23rd in the nation in long-range buckets (13) and seventh in three-point attempts.
Free-Throws – The last two games for the Tigers have come down to the wire. In close games, where every point counts, free-throw shooting is a valuable skill and head coach Courtney Banghart's group is 26-for-27 combined during those matchups. For the year, Princeton is fifth in the NCAA in free-throw percentage (85.7).
Kansas State's Defense – The Wildcats' defense has been one of the best in Division-I through its first three meetings. Kansas State has not allowed more than 50 points in any game and sits with one of the best scoring defenses (46.0) and field goal percentage defenses (29.8, 17th).
