NEW YORK, NY (12/1/18) - The Princeton men's track & field team opened the 2018-19 indoor season at the TCNJ Indoor Opener at The Armory on Saturday evening. The Tigers showed early promise from its freshmen and veterans in the sprints and jumps.
Freshmen Simanga Ndhlovu and Greg Sholars shined in the 60-meter dash along junior Daniel Afolabi as all three qualified for the finals. After running the fastest time out of 49 in the prelims, Ndhovu won the final with a 6.83 - the third fastest time ever by a Princeton Tiger. Sholars took fourth at 6.95 and Afolabi was sixth at 6.98.
Senior Franklin Aririguzoh claimed a win in the 600 at 1:21.96 (27.108, 27.724, 27.129).
