Tigers Send Middle Distance Corps to Florida Relays

The Princeton women's track & field team will send a small contingent to the Florida Relays to compete in the middle distance events.
The first event for the Tigers will be the 800 at 2:15 p.m., with Anna Jurew. Jurew has the seventh fastest time in the event with a 2:07.64 from last year's West Point Twilight meet. Four runners will tackle the 1500 at 8:20 p.m., with freshman Sophie Cantine, junior Alie Fordyce, junior Madison Offstein and sophomore Madeleine Sumner. Sumner has the top returning time in the 1500 for Princeton after a 4:22.90 at West Point Twilight Meet a year ago. In the first steeplechase race of the season, juniors Brighie Leach, Allie Klimkiewicz will be joined by freshman Peyton Brown. Leach has the top returning time in the event at 10:30.88 while Klimkiewicz was a scorer in this event at Heps in May.
